Parmesan Rosemary Salmon Filet

Calling all Salmon Lover's out there... this recipe is where it's at! I tend to be a creature of habit in most areas of my life... and that tends to be the case in the kitchen as well. I have my go-to spices and seasons and use them on EVERYTHING until I get sick of it.. but who am I kidding? That never happens. So, pregnancy happened (just blame everything on pregnancy) and for whatever reason, my habitual ways have subsided due to not desiring the same things every day or downright not having the stomach for some of my previous favorites!

But I won't complain because that brought me to this beautiful creation! Butter, rosemary, parmesan, pepper... bursts of delicious flavor in EVERY SINGLE  BITE. Seriously, I wanted a second serving but this baby doesn't leave any room for that. So, I'll be making this again and again and again until my husband goes on a "NO SALMON" hiatus.

Prep Time: 10 Minutes

Cook Time: 20-25 Minutes

Directions:

  1. Place Salmon on lined baking sheet and preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Melt butter and then spread melted butter over the salmon.
  3. Top with rosemary, pepper, salt, parmesan and parsley.
  4. Cook for 20-25 minutes depending on thickness of filet.

Ingredients:

  • Salmon Filet (preferably Wild Caught)
  • 2 TBSP Organic Grassfed Butter
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 TSP Rosemary
  • 1 TSP Pepper
  • 1 TSP Salt
  • Chopped Parsley
  • 1 TBSP Parmesan

This recipe is extremely low maintenance... but here are my favorite tools for getting the job done:

I'm all about two things... marinating is LIFE and using the right tools for the job. Yesterday it took me 5 minutes instead of one minute to cut the stems off roses because I had to use a knife instead of scissors. Wrong tool= time wasted! If you're going to get into this whole cooking thing and you want your food to taste good.. make the investment into some unnecessary but totally life saving and mouth-watering tools. I use my silicone basting brushes on almost EVERYTHING! They allow me to flavor evenly... not too mention.. I save a few calories on oil by simply stretching it out a little further!  Also, if you're a carnivore and meat is your thing... GET A TENDERIZER. I don't care which one... but get one!
